THE MONSTERS OF CLASSIC ROCK

The Monsters of Classic Rock is a phenomenal band containing original members from groups that defined "Classic Rock" over the last three decades! They are:
Chris Slade (drums) of AC/DC, The Firm and Asia Greg Douglass (guitar) from Steve Miller Band,Van Morrison & Greg Kihn Band Carmine Rojas (bass) from David Bowie and Rod Stewart Terry Ilous (vocals) from XYZ
CHRIS SLADE (drums)  Chris is considered to be one of the greatest drummers in rock history, having been a member of bands like AC/DC (Chris was with the band for 4 years, appearing on the albums “Razors Edge” and “Live at Donnington” and the singles “Thunderstruck” and “Money Talks”), and The Firm with Jimmy Page and Paul Rogers, appearing on both the band’s albums.
He was also a member of Manfred Mann’s Earthband for seven years, appearing on seven albums and the #1 single, “Blinded By The Light”.
Chris’ incredible diverse career has also included a tour with Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour, Bad Company guitarist Mick Ralphs, Uriah Heep, and seven years and four albums with the great Tom Jones, playing nightly with the Count Basie Orchestra when Jones was on tour.
Slade has also been a member of the eighties super group Asia for the past five years.
GREG DOUGLASS (guitar) Greg was a member of the Steve Miller Band during their peak years of their popularity from 1976 through 1980. He co-wrote and played guitar on the hit single, “Jungle Love”), appearing on five of Miller’s albums, including “Book of Dreams”, “Abracadabra”, and one of the best-selling compilations of all time, “Steve Miller Band – Greatest Hits 1974-78”. He was also lead guitarist for the Greg Kilhn Band, appearing on 3 albums, including the #1 hit single, “Jeopardy”. His skill and versatility on the guitar have kept him touring and recording for over three decades with a wide variety of artists, including Van Morrison, Eddie Money, Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers, Paul Butterfield, and Hot Tuna.
CARMINE ROJAS (bass) Carmine Rojas is one of the most respected and well-known bass-player in the world. He has toured and recorded with some of the most famous artists. He is best known to be Rod Stewart’s bass player and Music Director for over 13 years.
He has also recorded and toured with David Bowie, Keith Richards, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, and many others.
TERRY ILOUS (vocals & guitar) When Terry Ilous opens his mouth to sing, everyone’s mouths drop open in amazement! Terry has a wide range of styles to cover as one the lead vocalists for The Monsters of Classic Rock, and he does an astonishing job on each one. Terry moved to Los Angeles from Europe and began recording with members of Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Whitesnake, Stevie Wonder, and many others. He then became the lead singer for XYZ, a melodic metal rock band that was signed to Capitol Records to enormous fanfare. XYZ received two gold albums in the early 1990s and continues to record and tour today. Terry is also an actor who appears on soap operas (specifically NBC’s Passions), television commercials, and actively participates in the voice-over field (Rug Rats, Stuart Little 2).
SAM McCASLIN (keyboards) Born in Banbury England 1973, Sam started playing keyboards at the age of 13. He played the pub circuit in the U.K. for 7 years and released 3 albums before the age of 20, on label Den Records. In 1994, Sam moved to the USA and settled in Las Vegas, where he has set up his own label, Retrospect Records, and played/recorded with artists such as Michael Schenker, Carmine Appice, and many more.
